Kids Hope Meeting
Do you love working with children? We will have a Kids Hope Mentor meeting on Sunday, August 24 at 4:45 in the Fireside Room for both returning mentors and those of you who would like to learn about the program. If you have one extra hour per week, you have the time to be a Kids Hope mentor.
A mother of a child in the program last year said, “It doesn’t take much to touch the hearts of our children. The simplest things are so greatly appreciated, and I think the children take away more from this more than we can ever imagine.”
Do you have the time to be a friend and an encourager to a child who needs someone? Please consider volunteering for Kids Hope. You really can make a difference in the life of a child.

Volunteers Needed for God's Pantry
This is such a wonderful ministry in our community. Calvary serves at St. Luke United Methodist Church every Tuesday and Thursday. This gives us the opportunity to share God's love in a practical and hands-ons way. Sunday School Classes or individuals are needed to help with the first Thursday and third Tuesday of the month. Please contact Brian at 232-8955 or by email if you are interested in serving at God's Pantry.
The Mission Lexington free clinics are in need of more volunteers to work the front desk (answering phones, calling with reminders, checking patients in, calling to check eligibility criteria, scanning documents into the electronic records system, cleaning, etc.). Please e-mail Huston Hastie at firstname.lastname@example.org if you can help at the Dental Clinic, or call Peg Nethery at 272-0219 if you can help at the Medical Clinic. We could use licensed providers as well (MDs, DMDs, RNs, CNAs, Phlebotomists, Hygienists, Dental Assistants, etc.).
