Minister of Youth (Full Time Staff)
Educational Requirements: Seminary Degree or Equivalent
Principle Function
Led by the Spirit, the Youth Minister is responsible for the development and promotion of the youth ministry of the church.

Responsibilities
Direct the planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluating of a comprehensive ministry to youth (grades 6-12).
Major components of this ministry include:
(a) Christian education for youth including Sunday School and small group Bible studies.
(b) The recruitment and training of adult leaders to serve as youth teachers.
© Comprehensive missions involvement for youth including coordinating youth missions activities with our Minister of Missions.
(d) Maintaining effective communication with youth parents.
(e) Planning and promoting special events for youth
Additional Ministerial Responsibilities
1. Attend and participate in weekly church staff meetings.
2. Supervise the work of assigned paid staff workers including support staff and interns.
3. Keep informed on youth ministry methodology, materials, promotion, and administration through participation in continuing education workshops and seminars.
4. Prepare an annual Youth Ministry budget for approval by the Associate Pastor, Budget Committee, Finance Committee and church; administer the approved budget.
5. Participate in the outreach ministry and the hospital visitation ministry of the church at the direction of the pastor and associate pastor.
6. Cooperate with associational and state leaders in promoting activities of mutual interest.
7. Other duties assigned at the discretion of the pastoral staff.
