Calvary’s Seasoned Saints

The Calvary Senior Adult group was formed in 1976 by Archie and Mae Dedman upon their retirement from Lexington Signal Depot and Sears & Roebuck.

We offer seniors the chance to go places and do things together.

Shortly after that, they became aware of the need for a small group organization that would allow seniors the opportunity to gather in Christian fellowship in a way they had not previously enjoyed.

With the help of their Associate Pastor, Bill Simmons, and volunteers Millard and Ruby Zink, the Senior Adult Program was officially born.

We offer seniors the chance to go places and do things together.  It includes trips to surrounding towns for lunch and sightseeing as well as longer trips once or twice a year with a tour company.  It also offers trips to dinner theaters and other attractions as they become available.

We are striving to make life more interesting and enjoyable for those in their retirement years as we share Christian fellowship together.

Sunday School classes at 9:45 am in EBII, 3rd floor.

Contact Barry Dedman for more information on how to get involved.
