Pastor’s Paragraph on the Sermon Series: The One Anothers
I was glad to be back in the Calvary pulpit following a time of vacation with my family. We began a sermon series on “The One Anothers.”  Our two English words “one another” are actually just one word in the Greek of the New Testament. This word (allelon) is used 100 times in 94 New Testament verses. While we will not project a sermon series which includes every one of the “one anothers” (because among other things it would be quite a long sermon series!), we will focus on several of these “one another” commands including:
July 30th– “Love One Another” (John 13:34-35)
August 6th–“Encourage One Another” (Heb.10:23-25)
August 13th–“Pray for One Another” (James 5:16; Luke 11:1-4)
August 20th–“Be Kind & Forgiving to One Another” (Eph.4:32)
August 27th–“Serve One Another” (I Peter 4:10-11)

I look forward to exploring these “one another” biblical commands with you. Thank you for being (in the best biblical sense of the word) a “one another” church.
