Global Missions Sunday–April 22, 2018
We are blessed to serve with the missions-minded Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF)! On April 22, we welcome CBF Field Personnel (and Georgetown College grads), Joshua & Jessica Hearne.  Learn more about the Hearnes and their important work below. During worship, we’ll take time to pray and take a collection, the Offering for Global Missions,  to support the CBF missionaries around the world.  There are 51 missionaries serving North America and 30 serving internationally. They work every day to cultivate a loving community, to share the love of Christ, and to hopefully see transformational development within their communities.  Please begin now to pray about how you can take part in this special service.

Joshua and Jessica Hearne are two of the leaders of Grace and Main Fellowship, an intentional, ecumenical, Christian community serving with and among people experiencing homelessness, poverty, addiction, hunger, and food and housing insecurity in Danville, VA. Jessica serves as Field Personnel to Danville through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, and is supported by the Offering for Global Missions. They are both graduates of Georgetown College and the last time they were at Calvary Baptist, they were probably singing in the chorale. Josh and Jessica have a very energetic daughter named Lucy
