November prayer requests from Karen Morrow, CBF Field Personnel in Forth Worth, Texas:
Continue to pray for Hanin as she recovers from brain surgery. Pray for a meeting with doctors to discuss a nerve transplant that would hopefully restore function to the left side of her face and give her back her beautiful smile. Pray for R, an Iraqi mother who will deliver a son the first part of November, She and her two other elementary age children are here currently without the father. Pray God will provide their every need. Pray for continued witness to this Muslim family. Pray for upcoming meetings of those working among refugees to determine how we can best serve the small numbers of refugees coming and pour more combined efforts into acclimation, ESL, and Citizenship classes for those who have been resettled. Pray for effective partnerships and unity among those serving. Pray for a Christmas Outreach to refugee families in a park on December 8. Pray for good weather and the logistics of serving over 500. Pray for the many Hindu and Muslim families who will attend and can hear why we celebrate Christmas. Pray that families will take the Jesus films and Bibles in their heart language.
