Christmas Boxes for Appalachia
Wednesday, November 6
6-7PM, Fellowship Hall
Children, youth and adults are invited to prepare a Christmas box for those in disadvantaged communities of Appalachia and join Calvary for The Christmas Box Bash on Wednesday, November 6 from 6-7PM in Fellowship Hall. The Christmas Boxes for Appalachia Program was spearheaded by CBF Personnel Scarlette Jasper through Olive Branch Ministries. Please bring a prepared box the evening of November 6 for time of learning, prayer and refreshments while we finalize the boxes for delivery. Children & Youth:
Fill a shoe box with some of the following items for children or teens and bring it Wednesday, November 6
- 2 in 1 Shampoo/body wash
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Brush/comb
- Washcloth
- Pens, pencils (and other age appropriate supplies)
- Hat & Gloves
- Books
- $10 gift card to Walmart, Family Dollar or Dollar General
- Deodorant
- Fragrance
- Body Spray
- Wallet
- Jewelry
- Socks
- Nail polish
Adults:
Fill a shoe box with some of the following items for a senior and bring it Wednesday, November 6.
- Holiday stationary & pen
- Deck of cards or card game
- Crossword puzzle or word
- Search book (large print)
- Holiday kitchen towel
- Christmas ornament
- $10 gift card to Walmart, Family Dollar, or Dollar General
If you would like to prepare a box but won’t be able to attend on November 6, please drop it off boxes to the church office by November 6.
