The Lenten season will soon culminate in the ultimate celebration of renewal—the Passion and Resurrection of Jesus. Here are our plans for Holy Week and Easter.
On Maundy Thursday, April 1, we will mark the day with a Silent Communion Service in the Sanctuary from 5 to 7PM. This is a self-directed experience that helps worshipers enter again into the holy space of the Upper Room. Printed guides will be available to facilitate your participation.
Then, we will gather together at the foot of the Cross, Noon on Good Friday in the Sanctuary. We will meditate on the sacrifice of Christ through a time of worship and reflection. This service will be streamed online.
This season of renewal will begin in earnest on Easter Sunday, April 4. We will celebrate the Resurrection of Christ in the Fellowship Hall at 8:30 and the Sanctuary at 11. Reservations will not be required for worship, but we will continue to follow all of our Healthy at Worship Guidelines. What better way to mark the beginning of a new season in our lives and life together than by celebrating the work of Christ that renews us all and welcomes us into new life.
