Covid 19 Update for December 1
In response to the Governor’s request and on the advice of public health officials, Calvary Baptist Church will continue to worship virtually the next two Sundays, December 6 and 13. We are also announcing today that we are moving the Worship Ministry presentation of Lessons and Carols to Sunday, December 20.
All other in person activities and meetings are either postponed or moved to a virtual format through the end of the year with three exceptions. The Christmas Project will proceed as planned. Participation is limited and members wishing to help need to sign up here. Also, the ROC will be open to members only by registration for one household at a time. These sessions are strictly limited to only members living together in the same household. To sign up for a time, click here. Finally, we invite you to help us take the joy of the season to some of our homebound and sheltering members through caroling. You can find information on this ministry and sign up here.
We encourage you to take advantage of all of the virtual opportunities for worship and Bible Study during Advent, as well as sign up for the daily Advent devotions written by our ministry staff. We also invite you to participate in the many opportunities for ministry this season offers. The church office remains open but limited to visitors. Staff is present on an as needed basis.
We will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments as needed and when possible. Please watch for future announcements on our website, by email and on social media.
