A Conversation About Caregiving
(Rescheduled Date)
Sunday, March 8
3PM in the Fireside Room
Many of us will find ourselves in the position of caregiving for an aging loved one. Between the financial, emotional, and physical demands of caring for aging parents/loved ones, and often our own children (including adult children), the season of caregiving requires resources and support. Please make plans to join us for A Conversation About Caregiving on Sunday, March 8 at 3PM. Whether you’re currently in this season or are preparing to move into this season, we invite you to come hear from special guest, Kathryn Cox. Kathryn will share about her experience caring for her mother for more than a decade while raising her children, and offer great insight from the role of the caregiver. Afterward, we invite you to engage in a conversation about caregiving. Dr. Rick Landon and the local branch of the Alzheimer’s Association will also be present offering resources and support. We welcome all adults who would like to attend, so we encourage you to think about who might benefit from participating. Perhaps you know someone who is in the midst of this season- a family member, a Sunday School class member, or a friend. We would encourage you to attend as well so that you might better understand how to support those who are caregiving. Please register HERE.
