Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Holy Week everyone is invited for a time of worship with First United Methodist and other downtown churches. This year, the worship services are at Calvary in the Sanctuary. After worship, everyone is invited to purchase a box lunch to enjoy on your own or with our guests! These services are planned to allow those with a traditional work day, an opportunity to share in the moments of Holy Week and have a quick bite of lunch, all within the lunch hour. 5-7PM in the Sanctuary
The Sanctuary will be open from 5-7PM for a self-directed experience of the holy moments in the Upper Room. One of our ministers will be at the Communion Table to serve you when you are ready.
Children, Kindergarten through 5th grade, are invited to stop by the Children’s Library in EB1 anytime between 5-7PM and experience activities based on the sights, symbols, and experiences of Jesus’ last supper with his disciples. Parents/guardians may drop off elementary children in EB1 and pick them up when they finish their own experience in the Sanctuary.
